The property is thought to date back to the late 17th-Century, and was the subject of a complete and exhaustive restoration project in the mid 1990's by historic building specialists. Vendors Comments - After a year of searching in vain, we knew instantly that we had found the home we'd been looking for as soon as we arrived for a viewing and peered in through the windows. So much of the historic character of the house had been maintained in contrast to many of the other period properties that we had seen. We've absolutely loved living here and never for a moment regretted the instant decision we made 23 years ago.
