COVID-19 Update

As a firm at the heart of our local communities, I feel that it is important to converse with you and reassure you that the well-being of our clients, employees and wider local population is absolutely at the core of how we are managing the operation of the business. We are adhering to government advice in the strictest sense, and will continue to evolve to ensure that we are operating as efficiently as possible but with integrity and care.
Over the past week, Alexanders have developed a forward thinking strategy in extremely uncertain and changing times. We continue to operate from our office locations but should that have to change rest assured that there will be no change in the way that we work on behalf of our clients. We are all able to work remotely, and have staff on hand adhering to strict policy to conduct appraisals, viewings and inspection appointments. We are also able to conduct meetings virtually via live or recorded video stream.
We have compiled a database of property videos allowing us to offer virtual viewings and property tours via the internet for sellers, buyers, tenants and landlords that are either vulnerable, in self-isolation, unable to travel to view properties or in the case of lockdown across the region.
The global situation is evolving hourly, and our policy will do the same. Currently our offices are fully operational but locked to the general public. Should you need to visit us, please call ahead so that we can assess the situation on a case by case basis and find a solution.
It is absolutely natural to have queries and questions about the current and future market conditions and, whilst we are working in completely unprecedented times we are absolutely on hand to update you on our observations on a regular basis. We are hopeful that after a strong first quarter the underlying economy is strong, and that any disruption to the residential property market is likely not to result in a long term impression on values.
Our thoughts are with those in our communities that are affected by this pandemic, and our thanks go out to all of the key workers for all of their hard work and efforts that will ultimately prevail in this tough time.
